Learn.PokerNews Challenge Events Part of Caribbean Poker Tour November Stops

Caribbean Poker Tour

In November, the Caribbean Poker Tour (CPT) will visit two exotic locales in Punta Cana and St. Maarten. Both stops will feature a festival of poker tournaments including special Learn.PokerNews Challenge events. I’m excited to announce that I, Chad HollowayPokerNews Senior Editor and World Series of Poker bracelet winner — will be in St. Maarten to take part in the Learn.PokerNews Challenge.

Needless to say, I’m excited to go to an island paradise for a great tournament, one that is a part of a larger poker festival. Both Punta Cana and St. Maarten will feature a $1,650 buy-in CPT Main Event, but only the latter will host a $3,500 WPT Main Event and the $7,000 Lucky Number 7 High Roller tournament hosted by German pro Tobias Reinkemeier.

Players can qualify for CPT events online on the iPoker Network, the tour’s main sponsor, with William Hill among the network's popular sites. Three packages are up for grabs, including the Ultimate Caribbean Package (17 days for €7,500), the St. Maarten Experience (10 days for €5,000), and the Punta Cana Experience (seven days for €4,000).

For more information on these packages and which sites allow you a chance to win them, head to the CPT website.

“The CPT is the holiday of a lifetime with poker included,” CEO Leon Groenewoud told PokerNews. “This is an opportunity to take your friends and family with you, and they will love it. With each package you will play at least two tournaments, and you don’t need any money for food or drinks. With our adventure vouchers you can choose the activities you’ve always wanted to try.”
